WFA: AN INDUSTRY FRAMEWORK FOR CROSS MEDIA MEASUREMENT

The Advertisers around the globe via the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) are now working towards a common goal of achieving a better understanding of viewership across all Media. They have recently unveiled a collaborative new approach to cross-media measurement.

Doc 1: Industry Framework, Establishing Principles for a New Approach to Cross-Media Measurement: https://wfanet.org/l/library/download/urn:uuid:ea16e189-7592-416e-be8e-063bd674de9e/wfa+industry+framework+for+xmm.pdf?format=save_to_disk&ext=.pdf

Doc 2: Cross-Media Measurement System for Reach and Frequency https://wfanet.org/l/library/download/urn:uuid:2647d566-42fb-45d5-8f64-c62356efc46d/cross_media_measurement_system_for_reach_and_frequency.pdf?format=save_to_disk&ext=.pdf

It would be interesting to see how the two approaches, one led by the Advertisers and the other by the Media Owners converge to achieve that ‘common goal’.

Definitely, a magnificent start!!

EGTA INSIGHT: Addressable TV

If you want to know more about Addressable TV Advertising, this is the document to read (or at least parts of it, as it is 60-page long!). It doesn’t just explain what addressable TV is, but also how addressable advertising is sold, bought and measured.

The interesting part is the case studies from those who have already “embarked on the journey” of addressable TV, such as Sky Media’s AdSmart, SBS’ Smart AD, ITV’s Planet V, and others.
